There’s this girl that I know,
Who has a place in my heart,
Her shining smile and silly jokes,
She’s still with me, after she departs.

There’s this boy that I know,
That I value far too much,
He knows how to make me feel good and bad,
With horrid words or a simple touch.

There’s this girl that I know,
Who seems to be having a few troubles now,
I hope she knows I’m always there for her,
I’ll help if she just tells me how.

There’s this boy that I know,
Who always has the right advice,
Slightly sex-crazed kid,
But always so damn nice.

There’s this girl that I know,
Who’s always loving and caring,
She may worry about me sometimes,
Taking some of the pain, joy sharing.

There’s this boy that I know,
Who was always there for me,
Sorry that I wanted happiness too much,
But thank you for letting me be free.

There’s this girl that I know,
That’s so clever and always so true,
Makes me laugh in a different way,
She’s such a good friend, if only she knew.

There’s this boy that I know,
Who I’m not as close as the others with him,
But there’s something about him that makes me smile,
I don’t feel shy and I don’t feel grim.

There’s this girl that I know,
Who dances away into the night,
So loveable and beautiful,
So happy and pretty to the sight.

There’s this boy that I know,
Who is slightly scared of my psychoness,
I used to be closer with him,
But now we talk less and less.

There’s this girl that I know,
Who has such a great style,
She listens to her music, bopping along,
I sit there smiling all the while.

There’s this boy that I know,
Who I was friends with many years ago,
But we went our separate ways,
I still think about him though.

There’s this girl that I know,
That’s worth more than anything to me,
She’s the bestest friend I could have,
So kind at heart and beautiful to see.

These are my many friends,
Some closer and some further away,
I love them more than words can express,
Without them, I would not be here today.
